Partnerships for People has a range of positions with rewarding full and part-time opportunities for mobility, recognition and advancement. The majority of positions held at Partnerships involve hands-on work with our clients and the programs that serve them.

Volunteerism
Partnerships for People is preparing to launch a new volunteer program, "Partnerships in Caring." The program will provide volunteer opportunities for various aspects of our operations, and will feature a new Mentoring program designed to provide an extended support network for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Board of Directors
One of the most crucial aspects of the stability and future of Partnerships for People is a sound, diverse body of qualified Board members. Partnerships' Board of Directors is comprised of consumers, family members and other advocates, as well as professionals with experience in fields that include, but are not limited to legal, medical, financial, social service, human resources, community housing, faith-in-action.
Partnerships for People is currently actively recruiting new Board candidates. If you are a part of our service community, or you are a professional who wishes to contribute your talents to support us, and you wish to be involved at the highest levels of agency leadership, please call or e-mail us.

Student Internships
With so many excellent educational and training institutions throughout New Jersey and beyond, Partnerships for People is exploring ways to work with schools and students to implement an internship program for students wishing to enter related social service and health fields. We welcome ideas and suggestions from our local educational and training institutions - just call or e-mail us, and we'll be glad to consider your feedback!
Legislation & Advocacy
Among the many ways we serve our mission, Partnerships for People and its staff are active advocates for the rights of those we serve. Our voices alone are not enough. We need all those who believe that people with disabilities and people with other challenges deserve equal civil rights and adequate governmental and legislative support to stand up and be heard. Your tax dollars are at work to fund programs that serve many needful people in our communities. Please speak out so these dollars are spent in ways that support the best interests of the people they are meant to help!

There are many ways to donate to and support Partnerships for People.
We accept appropriate donations of furniture, clothing, household goods, appliances, office supplies, etc. Partnerships for People also is involved in various fundraising events and giving programs (see our IGive banner right here on our website). Of course, your donations dollars are especially helpful, as they can be applied to the areas where the needs are greatest.
Most of all, we need your financial support!
